A new Designer Showcase is now up and ready! This great shopping venue features a variety of designs including clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories, skins, shapes, hair and poses. Typically, the collection is switched out every ten days; however, a few changes have been made and new collections will now be offered twice each month (15th and 30th). My personal favorites from this round is the beautiful mesh top from Siss Boom, the lovely dress by Snowpaws and the stylish top by 1 Hundred. All items in the showcase are priced at 100L or less.

Happy 29th of February everyone, and Happy Birthday to anyone actually able to celebrate their birthday on the right day today hehe. GFW is out and there is some awesome stuff as always, I have to say that I am in love with the bags from Freaky Design. That’s two weeks in a row this store has impressed me, and so now I am watching it like a hawk to see what else they come up with hehe… I also loved the cameras from [Virtual/Insanity], they kinda fit the fact that I am always taking photos to share with you guys hehe!! Still there are LOADS of bargains to be had, for less than 100L!!! YAYYYYYYY!

Minivan Rides the Lightning Sale @ The Sea Hole!

I’ve always heard that the safest place to be if you are out in the open during a thunderstorm is inside a vehicle, yet I personally never wish to have to find out! It seems, however, that Miss Drinkinstein Sorbet, owner of The Sea Hole, had a car that wished to be a guinea pig and test this theory! Luckily, she wasn’t in the car at the time, but now she has the oh-so-fun task of dealing with the insurance claims! To ease that stress, and possibly because she’s been driven bonkers already, The Sea Hole is having A MINIVAN RIDES THE LIGHTNING SALE!!!!!!

In the MAINSTORE location, one of EVERYTHING has been reduced to just 50L!! Just look for the minivan! There is even an awesome freebie that has been created, just to mark this striking event!! Introducing the EPOCH Legend Event!

Allow me to introduce you to EPOCH, a brand-new festival spanning 4 venues and showcasing over 50 shops in three themed areas. The themes for this grand opening are: “Art of Escher,” “Beast” and “Clowning” (gallery below matches this order).

I was fortunate enough to run across this event during a Flickr distraction session, and as soon as I checked the blog and saw the list of designers and the themes, I knew it was going to be a great one and it did NOT disappoint. The variety and creativity is astonishing and I wanted quite a few things from each area.

I will admit that “Art of Escher” was my ultimate fav. I’ve been a huge fan of artist M.C. Escher since I was a teenager, so this was heaven in SL for me. If you’ve never heard of him, Google him before you go and you’ll have a greater appreciation for the items there, not to mention the cool-as-hell build! But I digress!

To start your adventure, TP to the Creator’s Cafe. From there you can access all of the themes and pick up some nifty t-shirts from some of the participating designers for 50L each. If you want more information, links are provided below.

The event starts today, February 26th and lasts for 2 weeks, ending on March 11th. I know we often say that this is an event you won’t want to miss, but trust me, you will kick yourself if you skip this one. Oh, and btw, there are a few things for the guys, too!
