  1. Hi! I’m thankful for having my real life son Gabriel, who’s 8 years old. Not only is he incredibly smart he’s just a great kid all the way around. He’s the best thing I have ever created, inworld and out!

  2. I am so thankful for my husband, who is my RL and SL partner. He’s amazing, keeps me grounded, supports me and I know I can always count on him.

I’m also thankful for the amazing friends SL has allowed me to make, people who stand by me and love me and help keep me sane when I need to vent or have something difficult to deal with… I don’t know what I’d do without such incredible people in my life.

  3. What I am thankful for is the cherished good friendships I have made in SL, no different than real life, people who have become as close as family to me. I am thankful the many opportunities to create here in SL, the chances to see amazing art and creativity.

In real life, I am glad to be spending my first Thanksgiving back with my mom in decades, to be able to care for an aging parent and bring some art and creative moment into her life, spend some quality time with her. I traveled across the U.S just to spend time with my mom (a good parent is hard to find, when we have one, I feel it is important to spend as much time with them in their twilight years as best we can — we never know how long we have, so every day is precious, every moment a good memory, even if hers are fading as she struggles with Alzheimer’s).

Best to all for a Happy Thanksgiving,
    Stay well, and Namaste.

  4. I am thankful my son was unsuccessful at killing himself and his home with me. I am thankful my 83yo dad doesn’t need open heart surgery after all and I am thankful I haven’t had an Addison’s attack for almost a month.

  5. There are a lot of things to be thankful for in life. I’m thankful that more people weren’t hurt in the Paris tragedy. I’m thankful that we have the technology to help search out those who were responsible so quickly. I’m thankful that I got to work with amazing people in my RL and SL community to help build bags for the homeless. I am thankful that my husband allows me to continue my passion for volunteer work. I am thankful I get another day with those I love and I’m thankful for those who never give up, they are such an inspiration.

    Happy holidays everyone, Tealeanna Mistwood

  6. I am very thankful for my families in both RL and Second Life. They have seen me through the happy and the not so happy times. Without them I would be lost! Every day is a blessing and I am thankful for each day that I can share.

  7. I am thankful for SL just being a little break from RL. I am also thankful for my RL family as well. I am thankful for having friends ( not many) but i am happy with them and i love them to pieces. as well as my RL family that my friends is what i am thankful <3

  8. I am thankful for my family and friends, of course, and I am most thankful for my wonderful son. I am also thankful I am not in the position of parents in El Salvador or Guatemala or Honduras or Syria who are forced to send their children to unknown places where they may or may not be allowed in order to spare them from the dangers at home. I would be even more thankful if those children were safe.

  9. I currently live in Ireland but as I used to live in the states, every year is just not the same without Thanks giving.
This year and like most other years, Iam truly happy and thankful to have my friends and family support me throughout my life as health is a big issue for myself. As Ive recently under gone yet another surgery, if i did not have my friends and family I do not know what I would have done without them. They are forever in my heart. Hope everyone around the world too has a great thanks giving, and may those whom don’t have much, not feel lonely on this day.

    Rebecca ~

  10. I am thankful for the friends & family I have made over the years in SL and in RL. I’m thankful that god let me have 2 wonderful boys in RL and a wonderful man to love me and my children. I’m thankful for being able to be here for them as well as the friends and family i have in both lives. This year has been really tough on me and my loved ones but I’m thankful to have them around and close to me.

  11. I am thankful for my RL son, who at 15 yrs old is more mature and uses more common sense than his father. I am thankful for my SL family that has shown me there are people out there that care about you and love you no matter your age, looks, abilities or sex. I am thankful for the love I am shown everyday. And I am thankful for Second Life, without it my life would be emptier and I would be lost most days. <3

  12. Hello,
I am so thankful to Secondlife… Without this program I would have never met Lee… We were married 5 days ago in sl!!

  13. I am thankful for another year of good health and the many opportunities to make a difference. There are many people who did not get to see this day but GOD chose to let me see it and for that I am thankful.

  14. I am thankful for so many things in my life, but most of all for my ability to see the best in all things and people. In the face of adversity I still smile and see the good that comes from any bad situation presented to me. I am blessed and thankful beyond words to have this ability. If you can only see the negative and bad in things, perhaps it’s time to open your eyeys. Much love and blessings to everyone.

  15. I’m thankful for being blessed with an amazing family and the love and support they give me, and the kindness they show me. I’m thankful for all the laughter we share and how we help each other though the hard times. I’m thankful I do not have to be alone and where ever I look I have someone I love and who loves and cares for me unconditionally. I’m thankful they are always there when ever I need them. I’m thankful that we are able to share our lives with each other.

I’m thank full that dreams comes true and not only have I been blessed with the best family possible but also that I have been blessed enough to find my love. The one that puts a smile on my face and who makes me feel like the most special girl in the world. I’m thank full he can see past my flaws and see me as being perfect in his eyes.

I’m thankful for the life I have been given even though its not always perfect its still my life and I have people who truly loves me in it not only in second life but real life as well.

  16. I am thankful that for the first year since 2011 I didn’t require any surgeries, and oh so grateful for my friends and family who support me and help me believe that life is truly worth living. I’m also very thankful that SL exists and provides opportunities for people to be more than any RL physical limitations, because SL is endless in its creativity and beauty.

  17. I`m thankful for every minute of every our of every day that we have in this world, both SL & RL, and the ablity to live each to the fullest.

  18. I’m thankful I finally found my passion and a way to make a living off it. I’m also thankful for my loving, supportive fiance and his family, all of whom make my life amazing every day.

  19. I’m so thankful for everyone in my life right now. I have so many good friends that I can’t pick any one in particular.

  20. I am thankful for my second life family. I don’t know where I would be without them. I am truly blessed, RL and SL and I couldn’t ask for a better life. <3

  21. There are so many things to be thankful for but most important one this year for me would be my strength. I am thankful for the strength that I have somehow summoned inside myself this year. It has not been the easiest one could say. With the suicide of my Dad & trying to be there for my family, it can be hard to be the rock when all you want to do is breakdown yourself. I am thankful that my Mother is finally on the road to recovery after having 8 inches of her colon removed from a tumor which Thank God turned out to not be cancerous. And I am thankful for the people in my life, the smiles that people give us on a daily basis, and the memories of those who cant be here with us anymore but are forever implanted in our thoughts, actions, & heart. Nobody ever said life was going to be easy, but finding those silent moments to sit back, look around, and smile cause it happened is what it is really all about.

  22. Im thankful for that my little girl is healthy and getting bigger. Im thankful that my mom fought breast cancer and won. and im thankful for my best friend that i got to meet this year thanks to secondlife.

  23. I’ve been trying to put my response here into words for a little bit now… but in all honesty, what I’m really thankful for this year is love. The unending love that my family pours out to me and that I in turn pour back out to them. Though at times it may be just a trickle when we fight and things don’t seem to be going right, I know the love is still there. I’m thankful for the fact that no matter the screw ups I’ve made or that they’ve made, we are all still here for each other no matter the circumstance. Whether we’re hundreds miles away or in the same room feet apart. Thank you so much bloggers of Seraphim the the ones that run it for giving us the opportunity not only to win the lovely gift, but to also just share with each other and remember, it’s not about the turkey, the pie, the dressing, the sales, the deep discounts, or any of that. It’s about the love we have for one another.

  24. I am thankful for my health, that even though I complained about working on Thanksgiving that I am physically and mentally able to get up and go to work. I provide a home and food, clothing and care for my family. Without my health I’d have no job and I don’t know what my life or the lives of my two kids would be like.

  25. I am thankful for each day that I am able to spend with those close to me rather close or far away. I am thankful for the country I live in. The beauty of the mountains and the clear streaming water. I may not have the best health but I am thankful for what I do have and the support to make it easier for me. I am very thankful for having the very best friend that no matter is always there. I couldn’t ask for anything more.
